I love this book very much and I’ve purchased one before however this second book has many papers in it that have marks from being pressed against something. That’s disappointing considering that the paper quality ( tomoe river 68gsm) is wonderful. My first book had no such issues.

Excellent quality mating legendary Tomoe River paper with a sturdy cover at a competitive price. The paper allows the smooth travel of my fountain pen nib & accepts the fountain pen inks accurately with little to no feathering and no bleed through. A slight amount of ghosting appears if using a dark ink and the page is backlit. The cover is flexible enough to mount in folder or carrier while being firm enough to protect the paper & overhang the paper's edges just enough to shield the paper edges from wear or impact damage.
Great paper for fountain pens!
The paper seems like good quality Tomoe River Paper and it fits nicely into all my purses, bags, portfolios, etc. (it's about 5" x 8"). The cover is sturdy but attractive and it's a lot of fun to write in, especially with gel ink pens (I don't use fountain pens; so, I can't review it for that). I recommend :)
The notebook is of excellent quality, especially the sturdy binding and smooth paper. I absolutely love the design—the royal red color looks luxurious and vibrant.
This is my daily journal. Love this paper for fountain pen. Love the faux leather cover, closing strap, ribbon marker. Ideal writers notebook. Have ordered several and will order more when they are filled.
These are the perfect size for on the go notes. They are flexible, but the covers are leather, not thin cardboard. The paper is a dream to write on. I’ve bought 2 of these now in the green and black. Shipping takes a few weeks but it’s worth it.
I love my journal. I love the paper it doesn’t bleed like some of the other journals. I purchased another and still love my journal. Had a slight smell nothing that febreeze sheets couldn’t handle.

The paper is so smooth that it feels like you are writing on air. It doesn’t have any feathering from my Lamy 2000 fountain pen, and it only has a minor bleed through. I am able to use my fountain pen on both sides of the page and I can read the writing fine.
